Geo-Mortars for Concrete

Kerakoll Geolite is an innovative range of eco-friendly geo-mortars developed for the comprehensive repair of reinforced concrete structures. Derived from extensive research into environmentally friendly materials, Geolite products offer a groundbreaking solution that overcomes the limitations of traditional cement-based and polymer-modified mortars. These geo-mortars ensure a monolithic repair with high natural dimensional stability, durability akin to mineral rock, and compliance with the highest international standards. Geolite’s unique formulation allows it to passivate, repair, finish, and protect deteriorated concrete in one seamless application, providing long-lasting, naturally stable repairs that integrate seamlessly with the existing structure.

Geo-mortars, including Geolite, utilize a special geo-binder developed by Kerakoll’s GreenLab research center. This binder combines innovative hydraulic binders made from natural raw materials with low-emission production processes, resulting in a material with minimal shrinkage, high resistance to chemical agents, and improved mechanical properties. Geolite mortars incorporate microfibres with zirconia to enhance mechanical resistance and stability during the hardening process. They are available in various formulations, including thixotropic and fluid versions, tailored for different repair scenarios such as passivating, reconstructing, and protecting concrete. Geolite mortars are versatile and can be customized for specific setting times, ensuring optimal performance and ease of application under varying site conditions.
